About
I’m a maritime and supply chain professional with a strong interest in data, workflows and markets. I like looking at how things work today, what may be missing, and how they could work better. This site is where I share the projects, analysis and ideas I develop around maritime, supply chain and commodity trading.
My Perspective
I hold a BSc in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus, in the city where I grew up. Growing up in one of the world’s most established maritime hubs gave me an early appreciation for shipping, trade and the role they play in connecting economies. It also made me curious about how the industry works behind the scenes, how decisions are made, how information moves, and where processes could work better.
Over time, that interest expanded naturally into supply chain and commodity markets. I am particularly interested in the relationship between commodity trading and maritime markets, because the two are deeply interconnected. Trade flows influence shipping, freight conditions affect commercial decisions, and developments in commodity markets can quickly reshape demand across the maritime industry. I believe that understanding both sides leads to a much stronger view of the market and ultimately to better-informed decisions.
I am equally interested in how work itself is changing. I strongly believe that process automation, better information handling and well-structured workflows will become increasingly important drivers of future performance.
Many of the tools required to improve the way we work already exist; the real advantage comes from understanding how to use them effectively, how to connect them to real business needs and how to build processes around them.
This is where I am particularly keen to continue developing: combining maritime and commercial understanding with data, technology and better workflows. The projects and insights I share here reflect that direction, learning continuously, testing ideas and exploring how existing tools can be used more effectively across maritime, supply chain and commodity trading.
I make a point of staying up to date with developments across maritime and commodity markets, looking at how changes in trade flows, freight, supply and demand can influence the wider commercial picture.
I am particularly interested in how workflows, information handling and repetitive processes can be structured more effectively. I look for opportunities to simplify tasks, reduce friction and use automation where it can make everyday work more efficient and reliable.
I use data to better understand patterns, test assumptions and support clearer decisions. I am particularly interested in turning complex or fragmented information into structured analysis that is easier to interpret and act on.
I am always looking to better understand the complexities of the industry, learn from experience and mistakes, and keep developing through continuous learning.

I usually start by understanding what already exists, what may be missing and what the industry may need next. From there, I use market research, data and practical industry context to structure ideas, test assumptions and turn them into something useful.
I start by understanding the client, the commercial context and what matters most to the decision at hand. The goal is always to provide the best possible service, create practical value and support outcomes that genuinely meet the client’s needs.
I see operational reality as understanding the tools, systems and processes already in place, then finding ways to improve them and make the most of what is available.
I use data, research and structured analysis to better understand a problem, challenge assumptions and turn information into clearer conclusions that can support better decisions.
